Every case here starts as a design, digitally planned with an iTero 3D scan and the Digital Smile Design protocol, before any tooth is touched. How a case will bite, wear, and age is worked out at the same time as how it will look.
That holistic approach shapes the materials too. We favor treatments that preserve natural tooth structure and use mercury-free, BPA-free restorations, so a cosmetic result never comes at the cost of the healthy tooth underneath it.
Dr. Olga Dontsova and Dr. Victor Khlevnoy opened their first office in Portland, Oregon in 1996 and brought the same practice to Sarasota. The goal has not changed: build teeth that let you plan your life around what you want to do, not around the next emergency visit.

Are Invisalign consultations free?
Yes. Invisalign consultations at Modern Smile Design are currently free and include a Smile Preview simulation, so you see the projected result before deciding. Consultation fees for other cosmetic and restorative treatments are credited in full toward your treatment, and the front desk will confirm what applies when you call.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. Modern Smile Design accepts most PPO dental insurance plans and files claims on your behalf. Coverage varies by plan and by procedure, so call (941) 231-8121 with your carrier and plan name and the front desk will check your specific benefits before your appointment.
Do you offer payment plans for veneers, implants or Invisalign?
